Hello, my name is Carol.
There are times for everyone when our normal ways of coping don’t seem enough. You don’t have to feel alone when life feels challenging or overwhelming.
I offer a confidential, warm, non-judgemental space where you will feel heard, valued, and accepted for who you are.

It takes courage to seek support, I work collaboratively at your pace, to help you develop positive changes in your life. I am passionate about working with people to empower them to reach their personal goals, overcome challenges, express their individuality and enjoy life.
I can help you work toward healing growth if you are struggling. Some of the areas I can with include:
Anxiety, depression, low mood, grief and loss, relationship difficulties, guilt and shame, life transitions, self-esteem, self-confidence, meaning and purpose, pain/illness, neuro-diversity, isolation / loneliness, baby-loss, fertility issues, feeling stuck due to past events, not flourishing.
About me & how I work
I am a fully qualified counsellor, and a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP). I am trained as a Humanistic Integrative Counsellor which means I can offer a unique tailored approach to meet your individual needs, drawing on my knowledge of several counselling models. My work is based on Person-Centred principles which involves building a good therapeutic relationship of respect, empathy, warmth and authenticity. I also use tools and techniques from CBT, Mindfulness and creative approaches.
Before training as a therapist, I worked in the voluntary sector, social services and education with vulnerable adults and children. I also have counselling experience with a baby-loss charity, GP practice and counselling 16–18-year-olds.
