Catherine Manners Dip.Couns,  MNCPS (Acc.) CYPT

My information is intentionally straightforward, but please feel free to reach out for additional information or details.

I am a qualified and experienced Person-Centred and Humanistic therapist and supervisor specialising in working with both adults and young people (from the age of 12). I have experience of working with a large variety of clients through charities such as Relate and Leonardo Trust, through school counselling services and my private practice.

While my approach is primarily Person-Centred, I integrate other therapeutic modalities into sessions based on the individual’s preferences and needs.

I offer IFS (Internal Family Systems) therapy to clients as a qualified and trained IFS Institute therapist.
I provide a safe, non-judgmental space for clients to unload and process their thoughts and emotions, encouraging them to bring forth any topics they wish to explore.

I am an accredited member of The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society, fully insured, DBS checked, ICO member and attend regular supervision.

I understand that navigating through extensive information, including terminology, qualifications, and various therapeutic approaches, can be overwhelming. Hence, I welcome enquiries from those seeking clarification on my qualifications or experience.

I firmly believe that the therapeutic relationship between the counsellor and the individual seeking support is paramount. To ensure compatibility, I offer a complimentary 20-minute phone session for individuals to determine if I am the right therapist for their needs.
